VICTORIAS RABBIT

"Come on, Victoria," said rabbit, jumping off the bed.
A mop of auburn hair slowly stirred, as the big pink rabbit landed on the floor with a bump. Victoria followed the rabbit.
Her dolls were busily doing each other's hair, and waved to Victoria as she passed them. Her favorite teddy bear sitting on her dresser winked at her.
"Enjoy your trip" he said to Victoria.
A door appeared in the bedroom wall where no door had been before. Victoria followed the rabbit through the door and out into a beautiful green field. She sniffed and the smelt fresh hay. No it was not hay, it smelt like, she sniffed again, it smelt like fish and chips, her favorite dinner. Then it changed again to the sweet smell of Freesias, her favorite flower.
The smiling face of the sun beamed down on her, while songbirds and butterflies fluttered around her. She looked down, and noticed that she was now wearing her favorite dress.
Victoria spent the rest of the day walking through this strange land, talking to the animals and enjoying the beautiful countryside. She met a cricket that played her favorite tunes on his hind legs. She laughed at the jokes told to her by a dish, before it ran away with the spoon.
Rabbit led her to a hill, as they got their night came, just as if somebody had switched off the light. Millions of stars filled the sky, the moons silver gleam lighting the two of them. They counted the stars; a gazillion and three
Rabbit gave Victoria a flower, a small red rose.
Then everything started to fade and Victoria heard a voice calling her. Slowly she opened her eyes; it was her mother telling her it was time to get up. It had all been a beautiful dream she thought, and then she noticed the small red rose on the pillow next to her.
Well, perhaps not a dream after all.
